So this oil atomizer only produced mist for the first dozen sprays of extra light olive oil. I make sure to clean the dispensing nozzle after each use to avoid buildup on the outside of the atomizer. My guess is that something has built up in the dispenser or tube, preventing it from spraying as a fine mist like it did in the beginning. Other than that, it's an attractive atomizer and it appears to be very durable and made from quality materials. The spray it releases is still very controlled and not a messy jet stream. It's great for applying to any surface, be it the bottom of a pan or the top of fillets/tender meat. I bought this for my deep fryer and generally spray and apply the oil to grills or cuts of meat with a silicone brush, but only use the brush on small items like coconut shrimp or spring rolls. Nice little machine and looks great in the kitchen. I just don't think you're going to get a fine mist sprayer without the use of propellants or a very low viscosity oil.
