Not most of us rent out car parts. Buying tools that allow us to polish in confined spaces can be very expensive, especially if you only use them occasionally. This seemed like a really good choice to me. I've tried a smaller air powered polisher in the past but it needed the large tank I have or I'd have to use it for a few puffs before waiting for the pressure to build up again. Such a tool creates a sweet spot as it has multiple power settings and multiple metal extensions. If you need more space between the polisher and the pad to fit in a smaller space, you can use metal, which is less likely to absorb the force of the tool than the available pad extension options. This is a good option if you don't polish or compound regularly.
