I ordered a card and received it for appreciation. After working for a few hours, it wouldn't turn on and wouldn't turn on again. After troubleshooting, I found that the card status lights worked as long as the Mac was not connected to the Thunderbolt expansion chassis. I ordered a replacement card and it was a little easier to set up than the first one. I realized something was really wrong with the first card, but it ended up suffering the same fate. I would not recommend this card if you are trying to use it with macOS High Sierra as it appears there is a driver issue preventing the card from working. actually works. good luck there
