Review on Safari Ltd Dragon Figurine 801229 by Tim Knoepfle

I was concerned about the quality of the plastic when I bought this kite. I am very strong and tough. Being plastic he really looks like a sea dragon, the webbed legs, spikes down his back and tail are made of clear plastic which gives him an amazing feature. The reason this is not 5 stars is because it is not hand painted. Product quality control could be better. The belly tan isn't very thick, so you can see the blue-green tint through. There are a few spots where the brown color runs down both the dragon's side and its tail. I draw miniature models, so this really strikes me. Luckily he's under the dragon, so you won't see him unless you look for him. The spikes on the dragon's side are also a bit sloppy, but not as bad as the ones on the bottom of the dragon. If this dragon was given to a child as a toy, it would be very beautiful, it would be very difficult to break, and it could be an "evil" dragon.
