Review on 🎙️ Enhanced Noise Canceling Microphone - Olympus ME-52W by Jerry Forehand

I use this to record meetings and lectures and I'm not impressed with the quality of the recording. I hear tons of loud ambient noise and not as many voices coming out of the speakers as I was hoping. If the noise-cancellation is meant to block out ambient noise then it isn't, and that's a big deal. I use a small digital recorder also made by Olympus so I figured it would be compatible and work well given it has so many positive reviews. I guess it's possible that I have a marriage. I don't need it for my own voice. I tried testing this and it works much better for this purpose. But for the record of others, it was rather disappointing. One strange thing is that when you try to listen to the recording with a microphone plugged in, you can't hear anything through the headphones or speakers. I can only hear playback after the microphone is removed. Bottom line, I noticed very little difference between the shots I took with it and those made without it. It's not a very expensive item but I still consider it a waste of money.
