I had a smaller Kenmore microwave for eight years before deciding to upgrade. Five months after purchase, my plate hit the edge of a microwaveable plate and part of the plate broke off. For safety reasons, it is not recommended to use microwave chips or to glue them with super glue, so I contacted Kenmore customer service. After initially being told that they would not cover that part, the agent relented and told me that they would send a new record. That was over two months ago. After several emails (at one point I was told the plate had shipped but no tracking is available) I still don't have a microwavable plate and unless I place the dishes squarely in the center of the machine I won't do be able to use my microwave. I don't trust Canmore anymore. My microwave has become practically useless and I don't understand their lack of customer care. By the way, I need to replace my washer and dryer. Guess which brand of device doesn't get this $$$?
