I wanted a kitchen canister set that: 1) Nested together for easy storage 2) Clear lids so you can easily see what's being stored 3) Stainless steel 4) Secure lids that stay in place to prevent spills I first bought Silver Onyx Set of 4 On delivery I tried the lids to see if they were left - NO. Even if you take them empty by the lid, the lid will move, meaning you'll spill your contents and make a mess. I put them to a fair test by trying each of the 4 sizes, both blank and weighted - NO. Then I bought an almost identical set from Deppon. Immediately after delivery I tested the lid again with very different results. Deppon lids stay in place even when lifted just by the contents lid. I leave Deppon and return the Silver Onyx. Caveat - I've done my homework by reading the reviews and carefully checking for comments on whether they actually print reliably. BOTH were well received by reviews stating the seals worked. There's nothing worse than spilling flour, sugar, coffee, etc. all over the kitchen due to a non-stick coating. If the lid doesn't stick, you know it will come off if you drop it.
