Fits perfectly into the large threaded hole on the "connector body" of the radiator hose on my Mahindra 2540 with a 2.7 liter 4-stroke cylinder engine. I have never used a cylinder block heater like this and was surprised at how well it worked. I plugged it into a remote controlled outlet to which I also plug two magnetic sump heaters. From my house on the 2nd floor with a remote switch I can turn on all three heaters on the tractor with the push of a button. The two times I did this I turned on the heaters about two hours before launch and trust me it really works. Without a coolant heater, starting takes a few seconds longer, even at temperatures as high as 45°F. The manufacturer advised me that such an "immersion" coolant heater would be the most efficient and effective. I am very happy with the purchase and hope it will provide an 'easy start' for many years to come.
