I accidentally left the original glow plug with Tim.

I accidentally left Tim's original glow plug for a few days and it blew. I replaced it with this one and it has been working for a year now

Pros
  • For a quick winter start and less engine wear
Cons
  • High price

NOT suitable for Kunota B1550!

This website and the manufacturer's website say it will fit my Kubota B1550 with a 3/4 to 1 inch adapter. Not suitable. My little Kubota has plug connectors, not screw connectors. I sent it back and have to consider other options. Knocking out a thin connector on the left side of the engine may be in the future, but it's not going to happen any time soon.

Pros
  • volts: 120 | Tue: 400 | Plug Type: 120V 15A (Type A) | CSA Approved
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great engine heater for cold mornings

Fits perfectly into the large threaded hole on the "connector body" of the radiator hose on my Mahindra 2540 with a 2.7 liter 4-stroke cylinder engine. I have never used a cylinder block heater like this and was surprised at how well it worked. I plugged it into a remote controlled outlet to which I also plug two magnetic sump heaters. From my house on the 2nd floor with a remote switch I can turn on all three heaters on the tractor with the push of a button. The two times I did this I turned…

  • 5.8ft (1.8m) cable included
Cons
  • Older model

A good product; but DO NOT use a 3/4 " to 1 " adapter!

This is a well made (made in the US) product, although I don't really like the electrical connector; works, but I would like something more reliable, especially when installed on a tractor. I took off a star because of the connection. This device has a 3/4" NPT thread, they also offer a device with a 1" thread. MAKE SURE YOU ARE BUYING THE RIGHT THING! Female from 3/4" to 1"; This is NOT recommended as it restricts the heater element's access to the coolant in the engine block. Basically, if…
