Have you ever tried to remove a tire from a 2016 Ford Fusion? Well, let me tell you. You get your breaker. You will put on a 3/4 socket. You will succeed with the first nut. You retire and boom. The union nut is loose. Then unscrew the other 4. Then jack up the car and remove the first nut. And after 10 minutes of thinking about what reality you're in, you'll find that the nut never loosened. This was the outer part of the nut that turned on the real nut. Then you spend the next day gouging out the outer shell of your nuts so you can stuff 18mm in and take the damn thing off. But you end up taking it to the mechanic, because who wants to sit there all day and peel off the stupid outer layer of a nut? Insanity! So just replace them with these. And when they rust, buy more. Buying CRAZY STUPID nuts with an outer shell costs about the same. What in God's name were they thinking?
