I have been installing these nuts for almost 2 years now.

These nuts have been around for almost 2 years. They survived two winters in Iowa. All 20 wheel nuts have varying degrees of surface rust. These wheel nuts do the job and keep your wheels intact. However, I would highly recommend another option if you live in a rust belt or in an area where the roads get salted in winter.

Pros
  • Great price

Fits Ford Focus 2014

Fits my Ford Focus 2014 as advertised. An added benefit is that they are the same size as the lug nut/jack tool so you don't need an adapter to install or remove them. - Short Story - I wanted to remove the wheels on my 2014 Ford Focus and found the tool under the bed didn't match the factory nuts. Apparently there is some kind of adapter that we either lost or never received that fits the wrench used to remove the *facepalm* nuts. So I damaged the factory nuts when removing them. These nuts…

2013 Ford Escape Nut Replacement

I purchased these nuts when my Ford dealer informed me that all of my nuts had suddenly failed and needed to be replaced. plus installation. Until I replaced them my tires couldn't spin and I was told that if I got a flat tire I would be in big trouble. I didn't want to order them but I did and received them quickly. I called my dealer and he agreed to install it. I just installed them today and was told they are better quality than the originals and there is no charge for installation. so it…

Pros
  • Superb Design
Cons
  • Modern

After doing a little research I found that many consumers face the same problem I have with factory nuts. Looks like the factory nuts are carbon steel(?) with a chrome cap pressed onto them. The problem is that carbon steel (again?) starts to rust under the chrome cover over time. This causes the nut to swell, resulting in a change in the outer dimensions of the nut. It is almost impossible to remove the jam nuts if they are too loose. These clamping nuts from DPAccessories are solid and…

I join the majority in saying these nuts are awesome.

Have you ever tried to remove a tire from a 2016 Ford Fusion? Well, let me tell you. You get your breaker. You will put on a 3/4 socket. You will succeed with the first nut. You retire and boom. The union nut is loose. Then unscrew the other 4. Then jack up the car and remove the first nut. And after 10 minutes of thinking about what reality you're in, you'll find that the nut never loosened. This was the outer part of the nut that turned on the real nut. Then you spend the next day gouging out

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Better than factory nuts. saved the day!

We have a 2013 Ford Escape and a 2014 Ford Focus, both with the same rim size and mounting nuts. Our Escape had a flat tire but the wrench that came with the car didn't fit the mounting nuts so we tried the same wrench on our Focus and it worked. We took the Escape to our mechanic and found the original nuts were swollen and severely torn off so I had to buy new nuts before he could change the tire as the factory nuts were so bad he had to hammer the lug bushing. Nuts to remove them so they…

High quality replacement nuts!

My husband wanted to take a moment to share our positive experience with these nuts to help other potential buyers. 17-inch aluminum wheels, i.e. with "chrome" nuts. As with most factory nuts like this they are two piece for some reason and over time rust will form between the nut itself and the chrome cap. a problem with the fitting and you will have a blast taking the wheels off. Please do yourself a favor and check the fit from time to time with a suitable socket on all your nuts and also…
