Despite the 'upgrade' this watch looks and works like new. I am very happy. A lightweight and powerful fitness training device paired with an easy-to-use and stylish sports watch. Garmin Connect (web and phone app) offers complete pre-designed training plans to help you reach your 5K run or bike goals. to intervals and HR zones for everyone. Once created: By clicking you can schedule workouts on your calendar and have them ready to run on your Forerunner. The buttons are easy to use and much more reliable than the touchscreen when jumping or sweating. Five seems like a lot but it allows the functionality (e.g. scrolling up and down) stays consistent with the button, making implementation much easier. I originally wanted a touchscreen but got it wrong and was so glad it wasn't! Statistics and metrics are accurate and always reliable for Garmin. The watch is lightweight and doesn't distract at all while exercising. It's big but smaller, lighter and much thinner than the Fenix 5. It fits perfectly, even on my ridiculously thin wrists. I love the big screen! The silicone strap is comfortable and the cutouts fit any wrist. Using Garmin Express on my Mac, I downloaded my iTunes playlists with no problem. My playlists have been grouped. So I can still jam to my heart's content. The 645 fits my Mpow Sports easily and the music from the 645 is good. Not the fullness of the iPhone, but definitely enough to work out with. There's kind of a cutout where my left hand with the clock is all the way down and the other side of the body from the pickup is to the right. This seems to be an ongoing problem as almost all Bluetooth functionality doesn't work through the watery human body. This happens very rarely and doesn't spoil the fun very much. Overall, this watch exceeds my needs and expectations.
