Review on 🌬️ Efficient Indoor Dryer Vent Kit: Dundas Jafine TDIDVKZW - 4-Inch by 5-Foot Proflex Duct, White 4 Inch by Noah Warneking

Works well with a small modification.

When our apartment dryer kept failing to dry our clothes, I found that the hefty length of hose going to the roof vent was the culprit. I have been banned from using the internal ventilation system due to particulate health issues. Humidity is a factor when you're airing near walls, in a small room, or in a room that already has a humidity problem (I don't). As for fines, I took the women's nylon and draped it over the vented part, cutting down the middle to allow the air duct to attach, it still circulates air and moisture well but without fines. I don't use a mount, I put it on the ground, it doesn't get hot enough to worry about a fire like many people probably think, and to be honest the ventilation system is much cooler and cleaner with the shorter hose length and an easily removable lint filter (my ceiling fan was terribly dirty inside and constantly felt HOT). The zippers work well but I agree that the top doesn't go well with the bottom without tweaking something. Overall this is a cheap fix to your ventilation problems so you get what you pay for but I think with a little modification with $2 stockings it works great. For water and sediment issues or a water surface that repels large particles, fill it 1/3-1/2 full with water, not full, and I dilute it with about 50/50 white vinegar, which does the most to stop germ growth Part. When you change the water, like the main filter, wipe the nylon with your hand, it's easy.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I'll be silent
