I was building a mini bike and no matter what I tried the chain was either too short or too long. If I removed the link to a long chain, then it was too short. I tried adjusting the motor position which was limited. Moving the rear axle, which was also limited, seemed to give me such perfect tension. I came across these offset links. You saved me from disappointment. The chain that was cut and seemed too short I added this offset link and Bingo fits perfectly. It's like adding half a link. I've been running the staggered link chain for a few months now with no chain issues. Happy to find them and happy with how they work.
