Review on ☕️ BonJour Hot Beverage Ceramic French Press Coffee Maker: Flavorful Brewing with Bamboo Handle, 32 oz, Red Stripes by Pamela Beatty

Super nice.: Coffee, tea and espresso

This is a beautiful heavy ceramic French Press. It's a bit more decorative than my other French presses. You probably already know what a French press is and how to use it, it works just like any other. Pour coffee (ground recommended) or loose leaf tea into the carafe, add water boiled to the desired temperature, pour in, steep for the recommended/preferred time, then slowly push the plunger down. Pour your drink. Clean up is pretty easy — I scoop up most of my coffee or tea with a large spoon and wash the rest in a trash can. It is recommended to have a separate French Press for coffee and tea as coffee oils can affect the tea. I mainly drink tea so I made this my tea press. It worked fine, there was no loose tea in my cup at all. The only thing I don't quite understand is the word "Close" with an arrow on the lid. The lid is pushed and there is no open/closed position on the lid, it is always open. I believe this can serve as a reference for cleaning purposes as you can disassemble the filter to clean it. I love it. I haven't really tested how long it keeps my tea warm, as I mostly just do what I want or cool too much. However, I think I prefer this one over the jar I have. Basically, it evaporates very poorly, it seems to hold heat better.
