Overall it was a pleasant purchase. My only "concern" would be about the finish as it was glossy and I expected everything "ready to paint" to be a duller or matte finish. But it can be explored; I mentioned this in case someone more knowledgeable about colors and finishes wants to clarify as I'm only returning mine (left and right) because I quite accidentally found a significantly cheaper pair on my way home from work , which is the same day they were supposed to be delivered and yes the color has been adjusted. LKK! However, it's a solid product and they work (well, it worked on the driver's side since I was just testing it, so I can honestly post). For me it was a 2004 Toyota Camry xle. Get a 10mm socket for a socket wrench and a fairly hard, pointed, thin metal object. I used a flathead screwdriver and audacity to pry off the triangular plastic cover. A thin piece of metal or flat head is supplied to disconnect the side view mirror from the "box" harness it connects to for power. On the Camry I've been working on, this part of the component faces down (a little more awkward to reach considering the wires are pretty well shaped and blocking the corner) rather than up where you can just slide it with a small Flat head screwdriver will unclip it and makes the job a little easier. But that's literally the number one thing to look out for when replacing your old wing mirror. The slots for the power component seem superfluous (more than three wired ports) and so I think the one I was working on might have gotten hot as well, but the owner didn't care about that feature so I installed it and the power supply worked perfectly. In the end I say great product, honest and timely delivery. Would definitely buy from seller again.
