I bought this product for someone who has lost control of their thumbs. I tried the product and it was easy to use and I removed the lid from the plastic and glass jar. The machine makes noises like an electric can opener. The reason I didn't rate it well is because the product looks used/old. I thought it was a return that had been used so I asked for a replacement that looked older than the first one I received. This is an old product that should be in the back of the warehouse. The rubber looked dry and dirty. The product is not the same as in the photo.
