Thought it would be a temporary purchase until Canon sorted out their "supply chain" issues (they do it does not seem to be the same) the same problem with turning bodies for 2-3 thousand dollars). Now I'm in no hurry to change this adapter. Haven't noticed any issues with image quality - flare etc and very happy with the price and availability. The connection between the camera body and the adapter is solid, but there are a few degrees of movement between the adapter and the lens. After a few dozen shots (probably 3000 shots) I had once after changing lenses when it didn't focus, after quickly detaching and reattaching the adapter it worked great again. When I got my 100-400mm Sigma around 40mm, I experienced more focus hunting than I expected. Not sure if it's a lens, camera (R6) or adapter - all 3 are new so I don't understand what the problem is.
