So I ordered this product after deciding I didn't want to try all the home remedies and other solutions people were offering to remove red spots. I decided that my FIRST try should be my ONLY try. So I scoured the internet, then I looked for these reviews and landed on this stuff. My before and after pictures honestly don't reflect this because there are so many shadows in the photos. You should also know that my previous photos are of red stains that have been on my carpet for over 5 YEARS! And you should know that over the years I have paid two different professional carpet cleaning companies to clean my carpet and they both always ended up saying that the red stains cannot be removed. You should know that it wasn't an easy task and in fact it took several tries for this spot I'm sure because it was so old. It took several cycles of applying the stain to it with a warm iron and towel to remove it completely, but with care, it was 95 percent gone after about 30-40 minutes of persistence. Another important note is that this material has an EXTREMELY STRONG ODOR. It's like an industrial ammonia smell and is so strong that I had to wear a mask to work with it for so long and open all the windows in this room and we left the front door open during that time. Ventilation. That hasn't stopped me from using it, but I think it's an important note for those who decide to order it, so they're aware. I've removed almost all of the red stains from my cream carpet. I highly recommend this product and will be ordering more as I have already used up the first bottle.
