FIRST IMPRESSION: A lot more than I thought, in a good way. It is very easy to "assemble", it was only necessary to remove the plastic. It turns on easily, although I don't know why, but I figured there were different speeds. I must have been looking at something else and confused. The audio is quite loud, but that's not a problem for me as I like white noise. The light is very bright even for a night light. My boys live in the same room and although the younger son doesn't care the older son can. It would be nice if you could turn it off. UPDATE: The thing takes almost no air. He doesn't even suck in my cigarette smoke when I sit next to him. I'll probably trade it for something with speed and a little more momentum. Second update: I was wrong that the air is not filtered, the filter now turns brown because it sucks. Good for a small room like a bathroom but not for the bedroom I bought it for.
