This set is great! The bag fits snugly in the bed of my truck and maintains a low center of gravity rather than having full-size tools mounted on a roof rack. The kit is of high quality and has served me well on several off-road rides over the past year and a half. I take my tools apart and put them in my bag after each use. Tool heads are literally solid and full size. They are stored in a compact bag with space for spares. The telescopic handle can be shortened for use in tight spaces where you cannot use the full length handle. You're far more likely to break a wooden handle, rendering your tool useless. During my travels in the desert I found several axes and shovels with broken wooden handles. I've relied on this set to chop wood, drive stakes, build roads and handle some tricky backwoods salvage situations. With regular use, the pins stay in place. I put extra cotter pins in my kit in case I lose one of the spools. Two is one and one is nothing - always be ready. Update February 18, 2014: Just got back from another weekend trip to the desert where I used this kit. I chopped wood with an axe, hammered some stakes with a sledgehammer, and used a cat hole shovel. I bought this set three years ago and it was worth every penny. I never camp or 4x4 without this set in my truck.
