Review on 🚴 Schwinn Pathway Collection Bike Helmet by Jason Camarillo

Comfortable affordable helmet for easy use

I'm not a serious cyclist: I needed a helmet for easy riding in a quiet area with little traffic with my kids so I looked for something cheap. I went to the store to find a basic helmet and there were a large number of options. The Schwinn brand also had many different models. The Pathway differed in that it was fully rounded at the rear and top instead of being more aerodynamic like other models (Thrasher, Brise, Intercept). I've included a picture of it next to the Breeze, another one I've also tried on, and it's less pointy than most other models. This Pathway model seemed to be more comfortable for me and my husband than other models. It looks like a heavy baseball cap to me. There are 13 openings on the path; The number and position of the ventilation openings varies depending on the model. The airflow seems normal to me. The visor snaps in and out and protects your eyes well from the sun without interfering with your peripheral vision. Adjustment was easy by turning the dial and changing the length of the chin straps. I didn't expect this helmet to survive a bad fall. It's not a helmet for the serious biker or someone expecting to crash here and there (I have heavier helmets for my kids) but it's great for my needs and about as comfortable as a cheap helmet can be . My husband liked it too and got the same. Note: We have both a black female marked as an adult and a white female marked as an adult. Except for the color, they are exactly the same. Black suits both men and women.
