I bought this for two reasons: First, to clone an M2 2280 NVMe SSD to replace a lower capacity SSD with a MOBO; Second: Use the replaced SSD as an additional drive in the PC. It worked. The PC had a Win 10 Pro operating system, but the only slot available was a 1x PCIE slot. If you have a similar scenario, you will not be disappointed. The manufacturer claims that the card will also work in PCIE 4x, 8x and 16x slots.
