These keys are great for 2016 GMC Acadia. Programming process for your new key: 1) Cut out the key. I found that my local department store does this for free! 2) Put the working key in the ignition and start the car. 3) Turn off the machine and insert a new key within 10 seconds. 4) Turn the key to the Acc position so that all the lights on the dashboard come on and wait for the security light to go off (don't try to start the car yet). 5) As soon as the warning light goes out, remove the key. Key back and your car should start :) That's it! 7) Key fob programming must be performed by either the dealer or someone with access to a GM Tech 2 tool.
