You will not be disappointed with them.

I couldn't find a local dealer in the locksmith list provided so I visited several Big Box hardware stores and they refused to cut the keys but my local Westlake ACE Hardware cut the keys for free . I needed some parts for my 2012 Suburban so I went to my local Chevy dealership and for $63 they programmed the keyfobs for me. Everything worked fine and I saved more than half of what everyone quoted me.

Keys work great! 2011 and newer read this for the remote control.

My employer has a key manufacturer. I got 2 new keys. I could program it and get it up and running in seconds. You start the car with your working key, wait for all the start lights to go out on the dashboard, turn off the car and immediately insert a new key and put the car in Aux-only mode without cranking. As soon as the light goes out again, you can turn the key and switch on the ignition. It's all on YouTube. For 2011 and newer models, the remotes only need to be programmed with the unit…

These keys are great for 2016 GMC Acadia

These keys are great for 2016 GMC Acadia. Programming process for your new key: 1) Cut out the key. I found that my local department store does this for free! 2) Put the working key in the ignition and start the car. 3) Turn off the machine and insert a new key within 10 seconds. 4) Turn the key to the Acc position so that all the lights on the dashboard come on and wait for the security light to go off (don't try to start the car yet). 5) As soon as the warning light goes out, remove the key…

It's a nightmare to use

Here's the thing. The product is EXACTLY as ordered. No problem. HOWEVER, this is just a nightmare. First the keys are chipped as it should be. The keys are made of steel, so they last a long time. Most keys are cast iron, cheap junk. BUT, the key maker wants $100 + cutting fees. Why? Because the wedges tear the cutting disc and it has to be replaced. Remote control. VERY FEW locksmiths know how to program them. So you have to take it to the dealer. And will they program it? No, they told me…

Now I have three complete sets of keys instead of one.

Fob and keys look and feel OEM except for the "GMC" logo on the OEM key. Programming the key fob took less than 5 minutes and all functions work the same as the OEM key fob. I took my OEM key along with two blank keys to a local locksmith who charged $10 to cut both. Again, pairing with my truck was easy and took less than 5 minutes. Both buttons work perfectly. I've only had them for 2 months and they're in daily use with no problems. Long story short, I spent a total of $35 on two sets of key

Don't let your dealer fool you - buy them!

This is amazing! I took the blanks to a locksmith and paid $4 to have them cut. The locksmith was concerned that the blanks weren't cut quite right, so she suggested I go back and ask them to cut new blanks from their own blanks if they didn't work. When I first put the keys in the ignition, they were a bit sticky and wouldn't turn right away, but after a bit of jiggling on the ignition, I was able to turn both. Now, after a few uses, the buttons stopped sticking. I followed the online key…

Requires DIY and ordering

Compatible with 2010 Tahoe. Most major hardware stores cannot copy this key with their automatic copy machines due to a technical inconsistency. A small hardware store that uses a hand grinder to duplicate the key successfully duplicated this key for me and for only $1 per key. Dealers and locksmiths can charge hundreds of dollars to duplicate and program these keys! Find a small hardware store to duplicate keys, then watch videos online to learn how to easily reprogram the key and FOB for your

This worked great on my 2011 GMC Yukon. Saved a lot of money compared to the dealer. As others have written, if your car is 2011 or newer, you will need to program the fobs in the shop using a GM scanner. everything, and he programmed both remotes for $60. As for the keys, you can cut them wherever you want. I went to a local hardware store who refused to cut the foreign keys. So I went to a local ace who charged me $30 for a cut key. I think key cutting is the biggest unknown. I think many…
