Spare batteries not included as advertised. I opened up the battery and found that they were (2) CR 2016 batteries in tandem. The batteries lasted about two months with two 10-minute evening walks a day. For those interested, it's not waterproof, but should be fine if you're walking your pet in the rain. How long does the collar last? I'll add an update when I find out. I used the same type of USB charging collars until I found they wouldn't charge or just didn't last long. The green collar in the photo is the battery model (sold here) and the red collar is the USB model.
