The stand is strong enough and holds what it says the screws sent are useless. I damaged the wood around the screw holes by trying to use as much weight as possible while pushing down to turn the screw. The groove in the screw has a flat head and is not deep enough. These screws were the manufacturer's money limit. I was able to assemble it but some of the screws are only halfway through the screw holes because I removed the screw before inserting it. I am waiting to inquire about a refund.
