Review on 🔊 Pyle PDIWS8 High Power Subwoofer System - 8-Inch, Dual Voice Coil (DVC), Flush Mount, In-Wall/In-Ceiling, Single Speaker, White by Alejandro White

This is a rather unfortunate arrangement. I don't know where to start but first of all this is not a subwoofer. .There is no crossover anywhere so expect it to be connected to a dedicated amp. Also there is only one speaker although the pic shows 2. Installation was horrible. I have other Pyles built in and I thought them were ok, the sound was ok, the installation went as it should. The clips on these mounts are not the same. You can't blind install like you might think because the clips just twist when you try to tighten them (the slots also allow the clips to go up). I ended up turning the clips back to make them shorter and I managed to get them to work. The screws are terrible, soft and tear off the head very easily. They're as cheap as anything I've ever seen. The sound isn't great either. I had an old separate subwoofer that was part of a kit I was trying to get rid of. f to make room but sounds a lot better than the Pyles, just figured I'd have to live with the size of the old subwoofer. Now I have a hole in the wall with a $30 cover.
