Pros: β’ Velcro makes it easy for toddlers to get on and off β’ Nice glossy black finish CONS: β’ Size is A a bit small (up the size around half, maybe even full size if the child has a wide foot) My 4 year old daughter has just started dancing and after studying many different brands of tap shoes we settled on this pair. My medium sized 4 year old wears a size 8 (regular width) outdoor shoes and we went a half size up to a size 8.5 and they fit great with little room to grow (so I hope they wear these all dance season can). The gloss black finish is beautiful, overall these are high quality shoes and so far no scuffs or stains, although my daughter is not very careful with them during her dance classes. What sets this shoe apart from the others is the Velcro closure so my daughter can easily slip them on when she switches from ballet flats to tap shoes during class (there are no straps to tie or elastics to pull through). In case it's helpful, here are the other pieces of dance gear we purchased - we're very happy with all of them: Stella Girls' Cute Tutu Dance Dress Ballet Leotard (S, White) Bloch Dance Bunnyhop Slipper Ballet Flats (Toddler / Little Kid / Big Kid), Pink, 9 C US Little Kid Jacques Moret Girls Dance Basic Little Girls Dance Pants, Black, Small
