I thought this product would be good for reducing dry air and making it easier to breathe. Mostly I cleaned it every 2-3 days but I've found lately that there are a lot of hidden spots where mold collects. The fog tube is long and collects mold that requires a special brush to clean. In addition, it does not come off at the top of the mist area, so mold forms inside. The inside of the water tank cannot be cleaned and has become slimy. The easiest part to clean, which has a small brush, got slimy a lot quicker, and I found black mold in its crevices. I was struggling with sinus problems and developed an eye infection that lasted for several weeks. I turned off this humidifier and after 2 days my eye finally started to heal. I believe this product may have contributed to my health problems. I believe that this company needs to redesign this product. I no longer trust its use. I'm not one to complain without reason, but this product is unsafe to use.
