We have had this product for a while and we still smell the burnt packaging smell that we had when we first installed it. It was easy to install and keeps our kid's room warm, but if we didn't drill holes in the wall to install we would have gotten rid of it. and when I was in my toddler's bedroom I didn't realize how warm it was. The company told me they have a cover that can be placed on the panel to keep a child or animal from touching it, but it wasn't available when I made the purchase. However, after a few emails with them, they gave me a loan to buy the suitcase and I had to apply for a loan. the smell of chemistry is still there and somewhere you don't mind hanging it on the wall.
