Review on Deep Game Conversation Families Questions by Tim Curd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Even better than the first version!

I've been following The Deep and their mission for a few months now and I'm playing the old version (which seems to have been superseded by this version). Needless to say, they improved this game on every level. The questions don't sound like your standard "drunken party game" and definitely add more meaning and depth to the experience. I've tried it with my family and you don't get the same kind of awkwardness that you get with games like CaH. All in all, I'm very glad I got this. The game seems to be very valuable since it has a lot of cards. It wouldn't surprise me if The Deep becomes a nighttime gaming staple very soon. I look forward to trying out the dating version and the parent pack.

Pros
  • Say goodbye to awkward silences - to unusual hypotheses like "What will the world inhabited by your clones be like?" Our game offers 30-100 minutes of talk time per deck
Cons
  • The list will be long.
