Sorry about the book but I still prefer these

I think they changed the quality or the whole product. It kind of went downhill in every way. But I'm still keeping them until I find a better one. Scroll FAR down to find the best use for me for 2021. leaking urine. After many lessons and failures, I do a rotation. I lay out 2-3 and put another one under each. Once the dog decides to stop using the mat, I throw it away and the bottom layer becomes the top layer. Put a new one underneath. So it's a repeating pattern. It's almost no big deal they're leaking a bit now because they're doubling but not really losing or wasting product. They smell very bad when the urine dries up. Having been using pee pads for over 15 years I have done so many things to help (a plastic grass mat on top of the pee pad, then a drip tray underneath. I think my dog enjoyed this the most at the time , but I don't always have a place where I can do a quick rinse or clean (connecting a hose to the wall of the house and taking it with me was too much. The bucket is dirty, the tub is dirty because I needed it every day because of back pain, so I could just don't clean it 100% of the time) If I had a sink I could probably keep a large piece of cardboard in a garbage bag (tie a knot to the side and wrap it) and then put a pee pad on top so I could rub that layer of plastic, so to speak - everything was holding together well but one day my little older pup put 2 paws in and 2 paws out and dived to help Xia made such a mess I didn't want to make a new box deal he pee pads are pushed back about 2 inches on all sides to be useful for dachshunds, my kid did 2 front aws pads on one side and then 2 paws almost in place but the dive/pee motion was borderline by what looked like a giant mess of capillary action underneath. This is the worst because so much is sucked in. So I tried 2 pee pads together with the absorbent part on the outside. It was helpful. but very wasteful because I got tired of cleaning the back to actually use the inside. I've tried doing 2, 3, 4 etc all kinds of overlaps and it works when the dog comes in enough (couldn't yell at my old friend because technically she did what I said with the Ass wagging and proud 'cause she knows She did a good job as I ran to clean up the mess that's spreading fast below it was awful Movement doesn't clear up (Awww long back!) It takes time , when i go to work, i opened a bundle while watching tv.then after all this trying with them i for some reason still bought knowing what weed is/ i felt like i could go potty and even how to go potty on walks (sh She held her bladder on a 3 mile walk then ran inside and upstairs to go to the pee pads. Her backstory was used for a horrible puppy breed and I g think she was kept in a cage (stacked little cages) as she couldn't hold her "standing" legs for too long (minutes) and this grass scared her. (It took her years with PTSD to overcome the few things a normal dog could have overcome. She must have suffered from nutritional deficiencies or never gotten enough food for Mom because she made nasty choices to eat when her or her (my other dogs) siblings wanted it inside instead of outside) I tried removing the pads after a few years and found after a few weeks that she just needs what she needs and not too much pressure. Pad it then no matter what it is covered with I can quickly take a used disposable pee pad and poop what is never on a pee pad but always on my pleated carpet. Any urine stains that see any type of moisture I can spray with some vinegar or yell at and move on when it's time to pick it up, shake it off and wash - most areas have been pre-treated. This way I can last 2 weeks on a pee pad before having to machine wash. (Unless there are enough bugs on the rug itself that you can smell its time NOW. Now I have some washable rugs to spin. Technically I could just use this rug, shake it out and wash it every day, but then I collect, shake and wash outside and then lay out to dry much more often so my back doesn't hurt (I wanted to save money but that often I can't manage the whole job) so mostly sealed disposable pads on a washable pillow for pee now I prefer carpets I have 3 rugs to spin All the laminate flooring was just ruined by foster parents, disabled people and most importantly a rescued dachshund piss pad - never knew this was possible (on dachshund!) so I feel like the quality The amount of liquid he has changed I can't imagine what a big dog needs, he should learn pee pads within 2 months, bev before the contact breaks off. • Disability. a dog who had no control, so when I wasn't comfortable going outside to pump his bladder or some other part. E.g. rain, snowstorm, cold wind in sub-zero temperatures. I preferred to use pee pads to support it. Used piss pads just in case in the car, in his bed and especially in my bed. So I kept these suction cups everywhere (including in my purse) because accidents happened many times a day. • Used under a water bowl when my only rescue maid (mentioned above) has never figured out how to swallow her last drink from a water bowl. This pillow lasted forever. • under the sofa covers (the sofa cushions were microfiber so I put some folded long flannel blankets on top of the real cushions, then overlapped a few and then put a double sheet on top in case of any accidents with the disabled as he could get out wriggling out each diaper/belt Eventually to the 2020 version: folded long washable piss mats (nearly sofa length, then a folded flannel sheet, then a double cotton sheet over the sofa cushions. The piss mats made me sweat while sitting on them I needed cotton layers for my comfort, but one washable pee pad for my peace of mind sorry I have to let each of my babies on the couch with me so I will do my best to protect what is underneath (sofa, mattress, floor) to be with me be or wherever they want • In a drawer at the bottom and one awkwardly laid out in a folded puppy blanket no dog should be out all day Be set and sniff the chemicals, and a piss pad in one of the folds to fit the square size. Crate. So the dog could sit on something more comfortable and pleasant, but if it happened accidentally the urine would stay at that level (wherever I put the mat). I never wanted a rescue dog to feel like a cramped cage so he had 2 folded blankets with a pee pad in the crease of the top. I've always washed their comforters (threaded on deck until I've filled the 'load' for the washing machine) but was able to keep the bottom comforter fresh. (I used to have to pull my face up to sniff every ceiling to see how far I got (before realizing I had to use those pee pads. I would absolutely need a rescue maid to never step on a hard surface feel to fold up a flannel sheet then a soft blanket then i found i need 2 or 3 soft microfiber blankets because one scratches and presses into the bed shape it will make then i lost the pee absorbing layer.i just added more small blankets folded for a disabled dog so he doesn't have to sit in the wet layer (hoped his urinary power during the accident would make the urine go through several layers and leave a smaller wet spot on the top layer created where he will lie Dog cage Ugh I wasn't smart for a few years before I finally realized I should use a pee pad between the blanket chic ht before you realize it's just a matter of tucking one in the crease so right under the soft layer. (Remember I didn't like them. You must smell the strong added scent of fresh scent or lemon etc as dog noses are stronger than ours). • In my bed, under the dog blankets is the part where they sleep, so my blankets and mattress pad were protected. then 2 folded long microfiber blankets. Then I realize that if there is an accident, there is still too much laundry left, and I put the disposable underwear in the folded layer, but still under the top soft blanket. Paws or blocks of snow (remember that dachshunds can lie low to the ground and land on their chest full of mud, rain and snow. So always try to catch a dog running at full speed indoors before putting their paws inside making the whole house dirty Pads to dry for the next pot outside Before this part you find out they will be urinating on the adjacent pee pad next to the door (possibly a mess running to the edge of the floor forming the base and ruining the floor that way) I might as well use rugs but it also does more laundry or need to make sure a rug is around it just made it easier to use one of those instead of a rug (especially because a dog loved to pee on every carpet and especially bath mat, and depending on the color and wear slippers don't know what happens until enough pee that it starts to smell.. or the leak n came mainly from the force of a full bladder.. never had a small ringing.
