These pads are one of the best I've used on my three dachshunds

They absorb moisture well and don't tear. Dogs know where to go! The pads are easy to clean and recycle. I checked pad types and prices. Some are way better than others. I'm going to Revain for pets.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons

DO NOT LEAK!: boxes, houses and pens

I bought these blocks last year and they worked great! I'm not sure if they use a different material but it sucks! They are very thin and the area of the white pad seems to have shrunk. Anyway I hate them and would love to come back but my pup needed something right away. I am completely unsatisfied

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • I'm nervous

Not bad but with some flaws

I've tried several different brands of exercise mats in the past and AKC is one of the best. I prefer its size to the Kirkland and I usually only have to change it once a day. I haven't had any leaks on the carpet, although when my dog pees a little near the blue plastic edge this tends to happen. I find them more absorbent than Revain and Top Paw Pads. There is a slight odor when the urine is fresh, but it goes away when it dries. Note that it takes about a minute for the urine to be absorbed.

  • Great selection

Sorry about the book but I still prefer these

I think they changed the quality or the whole product. It kind of went downhill in every way. But I'm still keeping them until I find a better one. Scroll FAR down to find the best use for me for 2021. leaking urine. After many lessons and failures, I do a rotation. I lay out 2-3 and put another one under each. Once the dog decides to stop using the mat, I throw it away and the bottom layer becomes the top layer. Put a new one underneath. So it's a repeating pattern. It's almost no big deal…

NOT LEAKPROOF. Damaged parquet floors!

I wish I could give zero stars for the tightness! They are not leakproof at all and I severely damaged my parquet floor with them, see photo. They have some kind of attractant in them so my pup quickly learned to use them while battling the cheap ones from the big store that didn't have any attractant but didn't leak. The whole point of puppy mats is to keep your dog's urine and poop from ruining your hard floor or smelling on your carpet. I would recommend her to my worst enemy if I were…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Long delivery time

HORRIBLE PRODUCT - DOES NOT WORK AS RECOMMENDED!

These are the WORST exercise mats I have ever used! WILL NEVER BUY THEM AGAIN! If this doesn't work for my 9 week old Yorkie, I can't imagine the AKC ever using something this cheap! IT WAS A TOTAL LOSS OF MY MONEY AND I'D BETTER USE CHEAP TOILET PAPER! The claim reads as follows: Claim: 6-layer composition; Fast-drying gel that absorbs instantly to prevent smudging and bleeding. FACT: NOT TRUE! URINE GOES DIRECTLY THROUGH A VERY THIN CUSHION! Claim: Fresh smell and bacteria. IN FACT: THE ONLY…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Unreliable

First of all, I've never owned a dog that used pee pads. Unfortunately I adopted two Pomeranians, a puppy and a three year old, the oldest of whom was never potty trained. Word of wisdom: Don't potty an untrained adult at the same time as a puppy. What should have been a temporary backup appears to have become a permanent situation. Because of this, I decided to try different brands of pee pads to find the best solution. When they were adopted I got a pack of original Wee Wee Pads. They were…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

After reading other reviewers' posts I can understand why some people say these pads aren't worth the money while others swear by them! First let me say that my experience is quite. extensive lol. For many years I was a zookeeper at a local animal rescue center. I often keep 2-3 dogs/puppies, 3-4 cats/kittens and a rabbit or two in the house (why not?). Also, I have my own 6 year old beagle mix that puts up with my mess. It is typical of my home to get a new foster pet every 1-2 weeks! With…
