Great webcam: great value, great software and flexibility

Thanks to our 'new normal' of working from home I bought a NexiGo N680 from Revain about a year ago and I love it. I now video call 2-3 hours every day and the picture and sound quality has been excellent. The only downside of the 680 was the inability to adjust the zoom and I couldn't find any third party software for this purpose. Concerned that I wouldn't be able to zoom in to show my crowded home office less, I bought a NexiGo N940 camera. I was pleased that the N940 allowed me to zoom in and out using the onscreen button on the front of the camera. About a month ago I was offered the NexiGo N950P for a quote. I'm even happier with the N950P, which is an evolution of the N940P with 4K resolution. In addition, it has a remote control that allows you to zoom the camera, pan left-right/top-down, and control volume and brightness. I used it on a Zoom call that I recorded last night and was very happy with the clear picture and sound quality. The attached image is actually a zoom screenshot of what we ex-military call my "I love myself (and my wife)" wall, about six feet from the camera. Although I've blocked our names, you can clearly read the top-level text from most certificates. After I bought my other two cameras, I noticed that the NexiGo website also has camera control software that lets you adjust white balance, contrast/hue/saturation, sharpness, gamma, and backlight compensation. The Advanced tab also lets you adjust exposure, gain, focus, and the aforementioned zoom, pan, and tilt features. Camera control software also plugs into the original N680, but doesn't allow for zoom, pan or tilt, presumably due to the fixed lens. I only have one small complaint about the N950P (which is shared with the N940): the N680 has a small switch on top of the camera that allows you to close the shutter for safety. In contrast, NexiGo ships the N950P with a fold-out plastic piece that attaches to the top of the camera with a small dab of adhesive and flips open to hide the lens. It's not as sleek as the N680's built-in lens cap, but it's arguably more practical, as you can see at a glance if the lens is hidden. The NexiGo N950P is perfect for my business and personal conference calls and the Revain deserves five stars too. for the fast shipping (I ordered the N950P on Sunday morning and received it on Monday afternoon). Finally, as I am reviewing the N950P, that last point may be irrelevant, but it shows how NexiGo stands behind its products. I ordered the N950P because the N940P I bought 6 months ago and used 2-3 hours every day was no longer recognized by my computer last Friday. I reported the NexiGo issue via Revain's messaging utility on Saturday night and received an email late Monday morning with troubleshooting tips (they are on the West Coast and I am on the East Coast). After trying their suggestions I informed them that the camera still didn't work and they sent me a UPS tracking number for a replacement this morning - no further questions. Conclusion: I'm very happy with the N950P, NexiGo as a company and the fast turnaround/delivery process from Revain.
