The main reason I bought this 'boxed set' of stepper motors was because it also came with a solder suction cup. In most cases solder (or solder wick) is missing and with some additions this was the most acceptable option. I really only needed 4 stepper motors (all for an 03 Chevy Cavalier) and didn't care too much about the LED lights (since none of mine had burned out yet). I personally don't like it when my dashboard is too bright (just fully lit with no dark areas). I often "turn off" my instrument display so it's barely lit, as I feel like the road is what I need to avoid distractions. I've only replaced 4 original GM stepper motors (leaving me two left). Everything worked as expected (the soldering iron smoked longer than expected and burned off this new residue), and the "fixed" instrument cluster works great.
