I have to praise this new formula from the rooftops! Our carpet will soon be 7 years old. We have four children under the age of 6 who are allowed to eat in the family room and two cats. There isn't a spot in this room that doesn't have a lot of people, as this is our main living space. I pretreated some carpet stains with Resolve, but I just sprayed it on and left it on, didn't scrub it off. I didn't have high hopes as there were a lot of stains and streaks, some of which were from the last cleaning. I worked a little slower and had to refill the tank 5 times (room 16 by 24 ft) but the number of spots left can be counted on the fingers of one hand and they are all small and are by the door. I feel like I can live in this space again without feeling gross! It's amazing! I recommend this cleaner to anyone with a compatible car! Too bad I didn't take any before and after photos.
