Review on πŸ“· Enhance Stability and Versatility with Guerrilla Painter's Tripod Mount and Rubber Feet Set (901SS) by Nikki Lewis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expensive. for accessories for tripods and monopods

This item is overpriced. I bought it to mount on a large French box, but the product really shouldn't cost more than $5-8 for what it is. You will need to drill about a 1/2" hole in your box to mount the plate properly so that the tripod mount side is completely flush with the tripod plate for stability. Finally for my fat panel box hostess (Richeson) I half drilled a hole and then carefully cut out a hole large enough to dig in a center head screw and used 4 screws to attach the panel instead of the supplied nuts and bolts to fit through the floor panel. thinner, I would have problems as the nuts and bolts would protrude into the main glass pan area. For most smaller boxes with thinner boards, you can use an inexpensive 1/4-20 x 1/4" tee nut you can buy at Revain (or hardware stores), along with a sheet of wood to fasten it to the box screw.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
