I dampen this heavy duty scrubbing brush with water, I wipe it very vigorously and it removes most of the suds from my tub. But there was still some crusted suds on top of the suds. I used this brush with dish soap and water to do this and then all the suds went away. The brush doesn't scratch, probably because it has medium-soft bristles. But this brush does a great job of removing soap scum. There are a few dirty spots in the tub, but this brush didn't get those spots clean no matter how hard I rubbed them. Maybe I need to use a stronger soap than dish soap? Or maybe the bristles on this brush are too soft. This brush does not remove dirt well. This brush is comfortable to hold. It dries quickly. The brush is scratch resistant, but I would test it on a small spot first. It doesn't hold water well. After getting wet, most of the water runs out of the brush. But if you use soap, the brush will hold the suds. Soap gets on your hands when you brush with this brush. This brush is not very durable because the bristles are too soft. For an intensive cleaning, you can use a harder brush than this.
