🧽 Efficient Cleaning with OXO Good Grips Heavy Duty Scrub Brush Review

I choose OXO because I am always satisfied with the quality of their products. This is NOT one of them. The bristles aren't hard enough, just lay a little on them and they'll spread in all directions, making it ineffective at cleaning dirt and mold from the bath/shower tiles. That's enough for lighter cleaning jobs, but definitely not for heavy-duty jobs. Since this is the heaviest product in the OXO line, I'll have to look for another brand.

That's enough for lighter cleaning jobs, but definitely not for heavy-duty jobs. Since this is the heaviest product in the OXO line, I'll have to look for another brand.

Happy with the purchase. It is as described. I used a small piece of sponge to clean the fiberglass tub/shower and I was fed up with the back breaking work. I'm sure next time this brush will be a lot easier to work with and I kick myself for not thinking of a better "tool" until now. Well, I know this brush's description is for bathtubs, tiles, etc., but I was actually looking for a well-reviewed brush that was strong enough to clean carpets. I have two young children who are always spilling on the carpet and a cat who has occasional accidents. So, aside from steaming the carpets weekly, I decided to try the brush in combination with the carpet prep stain remover that I also bought with that order. I dampen this heavy duty scrubbing brush with water, I wipe it very vigorously and it removes most of the suds from my tub. But there was still some crusted suds on top of the suds. I used this brush with dish soap and water to do this and then all the suds went away. The brush doesn't scratch, probably because it has medium-soft bristles. But this brush does a great job of removing soap scum. There are a few dirty spots in the tub, but this brush didn't get those spots clean no matter how hard
