Review on 🧹 Commercial Vacuum SC5713D by Sanitaire Force: Enhanced Upright Cleaning Power by Kim Evans

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pleasantly surprised. I wanted an old vacuum cleaner with a bag. Easy construction. 80 years approved!

I've been looking for a decent bagged vacuum for a long time. I know the bags spend more, but the bags that come with them look fully compostable and like they will break quickly. I simply prefer a bag over a canister because canisters always throw back dust no matter how careful I am. I put on a mask and try to get into the trash can, but I can't seem to gain and lose particles throughout the house. I also feel like I throw this thing away more often than a similarly sized bag, but maybe that's just me. This vacuum cleaner did not disappoint. Assembly was very easy out of the box. It has a hose to connect it to, and then you need to connect the cable. Also, the bag was already there, but it's very easy to install if you need to replace it. It was so easy I destroyed it in five minutes using it on our rugs above. I have old carpets that really need a thorough shampoo, but I can tell the difference just by vacuuming and walking over them. I could hear the suction as it picked up the particles and overall I feel it did a good job. The vacuum cleaner has an adjustment setting for high or low carpets. I have what I would call low rugs. Nothing in the house is furry. This is an old house that we just bought so the thorough cleaning made a great impression. The suction hose is great too. It gets into places like between the stove and microwave that I can't reach without moving the furniture. In fact, I even used a hose to clean drywall and insert anchors into the new location to hang things. It's easy to use, easy to set up, and very comfortable for people of all ages and sizes. It's even moderately self-propelled. I notice that I'm doing very little to propel him along as he somehow moves forward. I pull it back and use some force, but it's not a super heavy vacuum. Depending on my physical fitness, it is quite easy for me to climb up alone. The long cord is noteworthy. It actually detaches from the vacuum like an extension cord and can be replaced with a cord of a different length. This is a feature I've never seen before, but I'm pretty sure it's common. It's pretty neat though because I can just leave the cable coiled up on the extension and then grab and plug in any old cable I need for shorter or longer distances. This one is definitely a winner. I'll update if anything happens but everyone in the house loves it. It's so easy my 80 year old grandma has no problem doing it on the ground floor. He moves forward a little, but she says it's light enough to pull without gasping. So far, so good.
