Even after watching youtube videos for other similar tools I had trouble getting THESE extractors to work. So I ran some tests to find out why. There seems to be an issue with the painted surface at the end of tool extraction. I wasn't able to attach a molex mini adapter (power supply pin extractor) or fan/floppy tool to fit the slots where the pins are. Finally I found that the thickness of the PAINT did not allow me to insert the tool to the desired depth. I took some fine sandpaper and removed all of the paint on the extraction fingers and also smoothed out the edges of the metal fingers. NOW I can remove the pins, specifically the molex mini fitting, which is why I bought this kit. Now I understand why this kit was so much cheaper than the ones reviewed on YouTube. But at least I was able to fix the problem.
