I have not used this headset as a gaming headset so I cannot comment on that aspect. Instead, I used this to connect a mixer with wireless microphones and multiple PA speakers to a laptop for a Skype online conference. This worked very well in our application. We fed a line level signal from the audio mixer into the left (pink) microphone jack and then pulled audio from the right (green) headphone jack to control the mixer connected to the speakers. The Windows 10 laptop that was the interface immediately installed the device into the audio panel. We had to tweak Skype's mic input a bit (because the mixer clipped initially), but it only took a few minutes to set up and test. I also liked that this device has a built-in volume control that allows you to adjust the output much faster than searching for an icon on the screen and dragging the mouse. I bought this at regular Revain prices with no manufacturer discount or that review approval fee.
