options I have an old freezer that has not been used for several years. I went to plug it in and left it for a couple of days and it didn't cool down properly. I thought about just buying a new chest freezer, but after doing some research on the internet I decided to give the refrigerant topping up a try. I bought this kit and used the kit to charge my car air conditioner and now the freezer is working again. The bullet valve worked exactly as it should, allowing me to refill the freezer. I watched a few videos on youtube before trying to make sure I did everything right.
