Can't get it to work on my MacBook Pro - waste of money

I connect an external DVD-RW drive to my laptop and I can hear it spinning, but I can't find it "anywhere" on my desktop. Tried a reboot, made sure the external drive is visible in "Settings" and nothing, I can't even find a website for support. Waste of money so don't waste your money on this product.
