What you need to remove the oil filter housing.

If it was my first I wouldn't have cracked the oil tank cap. The vw cc vr6 has a plastic cap that cracked when I tried the wrench. I wasn't sure if it would break if replaced. If it was my first I wouldn't have any problems.
