My favorite running shoes, love love love them. Great to walk around in, totally comfortable from day one so no need to break in, they machine wash perfectly (wash with something like a bath rug so they don't hang around too much) and air dry (although I think that You probably could tumble dry to your liking). They seem to be very durable as mine still looks great after over a year and a lot of wear. I have several colors and I like them all (black, gray and nice navy blue). The Chuck Taylor Dainty Ox style is a lot more comfortable than the regular Ox you see everywhere, a little less awkward and more feminine. I keep getting comments from people who know they're Chuck Taylors but don't know about the Dainty version and everyone loves them. I usually wear size 8 and 8 fits perfectly. However, when I tried on the regular Ox, I realized that I had taken the smaller size, so the fit of the two Ox models is different. I think what makes these shoes so much more comfortable is that the lace front and tongue area doesn't rise as much. The Dainty only goes up 5 lace holes and the shoe stops in the front at a comfortable spot on the foot while the regular ox has 6 lace holes and this causes the tongue and boot to go up my foot too far and almost hit the spot where my ankle bends which means a lot of walking gets tiresome at some point. I have high arches so this can affect my legs. Anyway, I love Dainty but wouldn't buy the regular Ox style.
