Review on TCL Cleaner Medium Pile Washable Self Charging by David Romo

Mopping floors but disappointing

For the price I wasn't expecting much but things that were done badly and well are replaced with what I expected. First, this thing washes floors. There is no doubt about it. I ran it twice a day for the first few days and it definitely makes my house cleaner. Suction and brushing seem ok. So thanks for that. But it has some unexpected problems. First, the schedule doesn't seem to be working. I set the time I want it to go on the remote and it's easy. Currently not running. It will randomly go at a different time. I've made sure the clock is calibrated correctly but nothing helps. Completely broken and unusable. Second, he doesn't find his home to charge. It can be maybe 25% of the time, the rest of the time I find it dead next to the charger but not on it. Third, I only get about 80 minutes of battery life, not 120 as advertised. Fourth, it gets stuck under furniture it shouldn't. I have a TV stand that he hits and twists away with no problem. However, when it goes into edge mode (which it happens to be doing during the cleaning cycle) it will push and push until it gets stuck underneath and can't move and needs to be rescued. This seems to me to be a problem. After all, I can't find replacement parts anywhere. However, I paid a hundred and twenty for it, so a great entry-level price for a robot vacuum. But if you say it involves something, that something has to work. Just know what you're getting yourself into.

Pros
  • Clean and tidy: Sealed dust container prevents dust and dirt from falling out during vacuuming and disposal.
Cons
