Review on ๐ŸŽง Enhance Your Listening Experience with the PANASONIC RF 562D Shortwave Transistor Radio by Dustin Schultz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

THIS IS A GOOD AM RADIO!

I love listening to AM band and this radio works VERY well! I've tested it on several excellent radios and it's very sensitive. The radiojayallen website gave the Sony ICF-19 a 3 1/2 stars out of 5 in AM Radio Shootout, which is a great score compared to the best AM radios in the world, and my Panasonic beats it a bit. This new version is not a true analog but uses a DSP chip but is customizable and works very well. VHF reception is very good, as is shortwave. The speaker sounds good and is very loud, but doesn't have much bass. But it has a good sound. It's ideal for AM talk radio and sounds good on FM. Some people say this radio seems cheap. It's made of plastic. They're all like that, but it looks like decades-old radios and even has a faux leather carrying case that looks like a 1970's radio. Is it overpriced? Yes. But the most important thing for me is the reception and this radio shines! I really like it! I'm not sure about the battery life as I haven't used it much, but it uses two D-cell batteries and should last over 100 hours. I enjoy listening to AM radio and what I have is great for that purpose. However, the price should be brought down to the $35.00 area.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it, it's just great
