This is an amazing vocal mic. I mainly use it for live sound. I stopped using 58s on vocals and am using these instead. This is a dynamic microphone with a condenser feel. Not as bright as a capacitor and certainly not as easy for feedback. Compared to the 58, the EQs are much flatter and the vocals sound more natural and musical than anything in this class. In fact, I would pay $200 for this mic, maybe more. It also has excellent stage noise cancellation. I've noticed that I have a lot less drums in my mic compared to the 58 I usually use. Only the singing is better.
